This webinar will explore the important role that addressing implementation plays in improving and designing paid leave programs. In many states, implementation falls short of ensuring access for communities of color, immigrant communities, and communities with low incomes. Advocates and policymakers from the California Work and Family Coalition, New America Foundation, and the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development will describe the value of strategically addressing implementation, and how state agencies, advocates, and researchers can work together to improve systems for workers and communities.
