This webinar will explore how we can support and improve paid family and medical leave programs, as well as design policies that advance equitable access to paid leave for communities of color. With a focus on California, speakers from Family Values @ Work, the California Work and Family Coalition, and the UCLA WORLD Policy Analysis Center will discuss the structural inequities that are currently built into paid leave programs across the country that create barriers to equal access and discuss how policy can be used to create more inclusive programs.
Hear from experts, leaders, and advocates in the field as they explain the current state of paid leave in the Unit, walk through recent UCLA WORLD research, and highlight current legislative efforts and successes.
